My name is Fleur Broca, I'm 43 and I live in Paris (France).
In 2014, I started a company called LoudStory, to share with fellow entrepreneurs a secret that - as I saw it - would change the way they did marketing. I had discovered storytelling.
At the time, I was looking for a way to go beyond the long-established approach of communication, which, in my experience as a PR consultant, failed to generate love and trust from consumers.
Looking into the world of startups helped me put things in perspective and realize the world had entered a new era, where people expect to be treated with more respect and intelligence. In my opinion, the companies that will endure are the ones on a mission to do good.
In this regard, storytelling is the most powerful approach for such companies to share their vision and live by it. It is not a technique to seduce, it's a mindset to engage users in a caring and sincere relationship. Because users are the true hero of your story.
This blog is the latest milestone of my journey, which began with meet-ups in Parisian incubators, and continued with an online platform I created to explain how storytelling works and give access to my step-by-step method. Today, LoudStory is a one-person agency dedicated to helping brands craft the stories that will shape our world.
